Re: Happy Fathers Day to Hairy4Paws

Last night I was reading "The Other End of the Leash," an excellent dog training book. At the end of the book I came across a quote which I dedicate to Hairy on this Sire's Day:

"For the animal shall not be measured by man. In a world older and more complete than ours, they move finished and complete, gifted with the extension of the senses we have lost or never attained, living by voices we shall never hear. They are not brethren, they are not underlings: they are nations, caught with ourselves in the net of life and time, fellow prisoners of the splendour and travail of the earth." Harry Beston

Happy Sire's Day to all. hugs

Julied;
Gosh, shuckens and all that, I'm mortified and shall I dare say it---bumbled, I mean humbled. biggrin
I sincerely thank you for the thought. love struck We too often hear only our own drums and the braying of our own brass. Least we forget, the world is not just of man, for we were the last of the creation. praying

Welcome, Welcome from M.O.T.'s K-9

I've been distracted of late and have not paid as much attention to my flock as I should have but I'm on guard now. sad A happy welcome to all our new members and go get them point getters. smile Have teeth will gnaw - is my motto. blushing Not to worry though for our new members or member who have not come across me. I only nip at heels to move you toward the protection of the main flock, all others first a growl of warning, then I eat. biggrin

Re: crying crying Horrors crying crying

Went to check on my antique pentium II and as I entered the room I heard an ominous whir followed by a load click - whir and loud click - whir and loud click. The hard drive had crashed. crying 300 Points a day gone! crying

This was a 1.5 GB hard drive from an old 486 I had been using to run WCG continously on this machine. I hope this is an isolated event since my main machine is set up the same way sad

Yes it is hot enough that we are thawing out - may even need to remove the ice fishing houses off the lakes.

Re: biggrin hugs biggrin Congrats Guys biggrin hugs biggrin

Congratulations Coingames and Sanj.

Graham, you were right. The MS Beta Spyware beat my Alluria "Spyware Eliminator" by one Remote Access Trojan (bad news).

Good tip. Unfortunately, another $20 down the recycle bin.

Your "crazed killer gamer" post was a riot. Nice work. wink

Question

I was 10 plus hours into a task that showed as being 36% done and about an hour later I noticed that the agent had hopped online and was getting another task. I did get some points for the old task but, if it was at 36% after 10 hours, I’m thinking that it couldn’t have been completed at 11 hours. Does anybody have any insight on this behavior?

I've seen this behavior once or twice myself but never could track down why.
