Most of the errors were on the Windows box. I have switched that one off of DDT2.

FWIW I currently have 72 WUs either vaild or PV. Not one is a pe WU.

EDIT. Maybe there is a problem with the pe WUs. I just had 1 sever aborted.

Never too sure but

- exit code -1073741819 (0xc0000005)

has it's origin in something being wrong with the host about 99.99% of the times... See FAQs for a multi-step diagnostic effort needed to pinpoint... memory/drivers and more.

Sorry

Thanks Sek but I'm just not going to try and run DDDT2 on the Windows box. It runs HCC and HFCC error free and I'm not going to spend time trying to figure out why DDDT2 is a problem. It didn't like the CEP2 beta for Windows either.

Re: New thread for It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!...

When the gates opened I received a flood of WUs with a 4 day cache
The estimated run-time for PE units was 6 hrs but it should be 18 hrs.
SEs is fine at 3 hrs
Discovered this when the PEs started running in priority mode.
Aborted some cause the won't complete time

Re: New thread for It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!...

Nanoprobe, I previously reported a similar issue the last drizzle. It was the hard drive in that system. I ran Western Digital's Data Lifeguard software. It was a bad drive. I can't swap it for a while, but it does work as long as data isn't stored on the bad parts or doesn't stress the drive too much. That is why my CEP2's also fail on that drive. I have stopped running CEP2 on that computer for now and all other projects worked fine.

@Coleslaw, it ran the last batch of DDDT2 drizzle so I figured it would run the next batch. Guess I figured wrong. It's no big deal. There's enough of the other projects to keep it busy.

Re: New thread for It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!...

Yeah....mine ran the others once I rebooted. It started with 6 errors then finished the rest after reboot just fine. But, I have seen it fail since then on both DDDT2 and CEP2, so I know it will be a headache to keep fiddling with. When I have time, it will be gone. It was a secondary drive anyways, so wont be an expense.

Unfortunately this problem of wrong project run times is predicated on them coming out of a single feeder which only computes the mean of all B/C type tasks that passed through in recent past. I've got one ''pe'' running now into it's 13th hour now and heading for about 20, so expect after that for all remaining WCG jobs in cache to have their TTC inflate badly when it's done, it then taking some 20 more tasks to complete before the ''normal'' average is shown again by the client.
