Very strange... there is the occasional client that does not sent back the application version and then the task going invalid. Here it seems a whole bunch "unknowna" That could be the name of his computer if he copied from his results status list. EDIT: That would have looked much more impressive if PMH_UK hadn't beaten me to it. ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by cw64 at Oct 25, 2010 7:21:49 PM] |

The machine where I have the errors has Microsoft Security Essentials, but I don't think the AV has anything to do with this errors.
Some wingmen reported valid results but the logs seem identical to mine. They don't show anything that would suggest that an error occurred. At least I only have (so far, knock on wood) 2 errors, but I have 12 Inconclusive C4CW results (~77 hours of CPU time) that I hope become valid in the near future. This morning I had one C4CW WU show up as "Error" when it first reported, then changed to "Inconclusive" when I looked again a few minutes later. I've never had results go in that order before. There's nothing the least bit wierd looking in its log. A repair job has been sent to a wingman.
----------------------------------------Both C4CW units reported since then by that machine are also Inconclusive. Is validation looking ok to everyone else? ![]() |

In my observation until now, by far C4CW is the project which bring me more Inconclusives status for returned WU's than any other WCG project before.
----------------------------------------My cumulated stats in the last week (empiric way to get it...) show me that around one in nine WU's processed in my machines became Inconclusive. This machines never presented this issue with other project before.
Cheers ! GIB@

If this were Linux (Lucid?), then 1 indicates system hangup.
