Re: Errors

On one of my machines a few days ago I noticed a sudden (and seemingly transient) spate of 'detached' WU's as well as a few errors, most were on C4CW but a few were on HFCC and CMD as well. The problem (or whatever caused it) appears to have 'gone away' as the PC in question has consistently returned good valid WU's or what will be good ones when out of PV.....the PC is running W7 64 - but the really strange part of all this is that there are 5 other identical machines all set up and running the same software and only one was affected this way, none of the rest suffered any loss of WU's or detachments or errors at the same time.......does anyone have a theory of what might have caused this or is it mad to even ask?????!!!

Re: Allot of Clean Water Results showing to end in Error.

Don't know. Have any of those that did so before been converted to inconclusive and later to valid? Saw one report of that sequence.

NB: Made topic more meaningful.

Re: Allot of Clean Water Results showing to end in Error.

In my case no, well at least the last time I saw them on the Results Status page. Since yesterday night they have been cleared from my results.

When you find out, let me know. I had a similar experience a while ago with DDDT2 when magically all the WU's became detached. I never touched the computer as I was asleep when this event occurred. The computer in questions was a W7 as well and it has not repeated itself since this last incident.

Re: Errors

Have a look in the stdoutdae.txt file as to what happened. Something will have been logged around the time as recorded on the Result Status page +/- UTC difference.

If the client is attached to an account manager such as BAM it may have been driven from there.

(no I'm not trying to remember with whom I had past discussions on this).

Re: Errors

No BAM exists with any of my computers. Since this occurred a while ago, I will see if any entries still exist in the stdoutdae.txt file that may have resulted in this magical event.

I'm the one who saw that sequence. The WU showed error when it first reported; went to Inconclusive within a couple of minutes and has since become Valid. I haven't seen that since -- but then I don't usually check Results Status right after WUs report in.

Re: Allot of Clean Water Results showing to end in Error.

The errors listed above are no longer in the database. Can someone post a current example for us?

thanks,
Kevin
