Have any of those that did so before been converted to inconclusive and later to valid? Saw one report of that sequence. Some tasks got incorrectly marked as "error" and were converted to "inconclusive" (likely by tech hand intervention) as was reconfirmed later by I think kateiacy.

----------------------------------------It's the only other time exit code 211 has been reported before, on multiple sciences i.e. it's probably a local access issue. A interfering backup is mentioned, the usual suspect here the security software. Think to have read a long time ago that if the error code is without a minus sign, it's not of BOINC origin.

... et mille excuses de m'exprimer en français, mais c'est trop technique pour moi en anglais !  J'ai eu une coupure d'Internet toute la nuit, juste réouverte ce matin. Le programme BOINC 6.2.28 s'est mis en panique... Récupéré par Windows 7, il m'a mis les 4 wu de calculs en cours en erreur de calculs(processeur QX9650). All four work units failed with "No heartbeat from core client for 30 sec - exiting", eventually causing the work units to abort after this was detected too many times. There is a entry in the FAQ for this problem. Another 'me too' answer. Whenever I suspend task for this project they won't re-start and get the same error message as in the original post. If that helps, I use Boinc manager 6.10.58 on Linux Mint 10 64 Bit.

I'm testing to see if I can recreate the error described by some users by running a c4cw work unit, suspending it to start a cep2 work unit, then resuming the c4cw work unit. For those that are experiencing this error, is this something you can recreate 100% of the time?
