thanks i was supprised i managed to get enough work units to get gold beta.... never even though i would make silver....
----------------------------------------yea i am almost up to 2 years on signature as well... cranking as much work units as i can as quick as i can... my "droid army" is working 7 droid cpu's (4 on new phone and 3 old 'useless' phones) i am actually hopping they get some more projects here soon i loved it when there were 5+ active projects made me feel like i had choices here.  |

I am just about 4 days of run time away from a Gold BETA.
Quite an accomplishment for both of you, RCC & nasher. Congrats. I don't expect to see any BETA badge for a long time. (Badges are awarded based on CPU hours, so the previous GPU beta had little effect, and the MCM1 beta was over too quickly).  |

----------------------------------------I bought a 12KT gold Cross desk pen and pencil set, brand new in the box, with holders, with the name plate, without a base. I am going to make my own base and add a gold "time zone converter" [for lack of a better name] I bought in England. The wooden base of the converter has a big crack in it so it too came at a good price. Now to search the planet for an exceptional piece of wood for a base, possibly Amboyna Burl. If you happen to have a piece of that burl in your firewood be aware that a chunk sold for over $800 USD. Peace on earth and good will to all mankind. Thanks to virtual currency and Microsoft's lax default policy giving programs too many rights we now have ransomware.
----------------------------------------Cryptolocker Encrypts your system files until you pay a ransom. About 250,000 devices infected in the UK and ??? elsewhere and it is unknown how it is spread. It can't be removed with antivirus or malware removal software. And get this, the malware author has a help line in a forum for those that have paid the ransom and missed the 72 hour deadline. Better keep your backups current and have a recovery disk handy, and don't forget attached network and cloud services as they are also attacked.
