We should keep in mind that 1) this is a volunteer hobby, and 2) units aren't scarce or have few checkpoints because WCG and the scientists want to tick people off. It's just how some projects are, due to either the structure of the project, or technological limitations, or personnel shortages. HSTB wants to produce more work, but they are having trouble finding more researchers to help them process the results data. With ARP, the checkpoints are set at 8 because that's apparently the only way the software works. In a perfect world, everything would be quick and plentiful and exactly how we want it, but our world isn't perfect and that's not necessarily WCG or the researchers' fault.

So, Aurum, maybe take a breath and be happy that we have a chance to contribute at all. I'm sure everyone appreciates your great contributions to the site. I know I'm amazed by how much power you're contributing to the grid. But that doesn't mean that you get special treatment. If you're worried about your biblepay/gridcoin gains, then you might want to focus on one of the other projects.
