Re: Minnesota Crunchers

I think they are still having some problems. The nightly update was somehow not correct. Maybe it will be fixed tomorrow.

Cheers

Stats wrong Joe? I know I'm crunching with 21 threads but the updates show around 18 days crunched most of the time. PV jail stays around 9 pages. Been like this for over a week.

They were short last night on the update, but I see they did catch up with this morning's update. I think they were still working through the backlog.

Cheers

I do not mean to speak for brink, but I do not know of anyone who would have the black or white pepper vines. I do not think they will grow here. However, all different forms of the chili peppers and sweet bell peppers will grow here. I have a neighbor who tries to grow the hottest kind of peppers - habenero and scotch bonnets. He would grow hotter ones if he could find them. Some years he does well and other years not so much. I grow a few of the sweet bell peppers - oh so good. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bell_pepper

I finally succumbed to reality and put my snowblower away for the season. Put on the mower and cut grass today. Boy is it dry. Got the grass cut, but it is so dry and dusty. We need rain badly. Hopefully with the cooler weather coming we will get the rain without the violent weather.

Cheers

This might interest you neighbor, as far as I can say hottest one is Naga Morich , there is nice matrix on Fin -Wikipedia öbaut those..

Seeds can be ordered from here.
If they do not ship USA (there might be some FDA -rules on these) let me know, I think I can send some as individual person as collectible items or something..

Apropoo,
now when I start, might as well continue...
There is very nice chili culture here on Thule, some joyful group who has made this kind of art form, I think there is not any chili on this planet that would not grow here.
Some diaryes.

Have to put some distance my self simply because did get these son of the b****.
Some opinion present that capsicum it self cannot cause these, but I did have so very clear pattern that was able to count every another variable out..

So poisoning my fish with clove on regular basis..

Chili Peppers (Facing Heaven). Dry those babies out when ripe for Szechwan cooking. Had to order the seeds from England.

If he is right I would be surprised. I have heard this before, as in the 1970's we had some extremely cold winters with widespread snow cover. There was talk of the re-emergence of another ice age with the reasoning being they occurred about every 10,000 or so years and that was how long it had been since the last one. So far it does not appear to be happening. However, in a side note, it is supposed to be about 70 F(21.1C) today and the weather forecasters have said it is possible we will have snow flurries on Monday. Crazy weather.

Bearcat, hopefully Supermicro gets your board back fixed properly and soon too.

Cheers

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

It looks as if we could get some interesting weather here in east central Iowa tonight. Right now the tornadoes and severe thunderstorms are moving east-northeast through Kansas, Nebraska, and western and central Iowa. The thunder has started here. I've shut down my good crunching machine, and will shut down the others shortly. I've set up dog crates in the basement, and dug out the flashlights. I figure if I prepare for tornadoes, they won't arrive!

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Kate, how did you do down in Iowa? Looked like some servere weather when I looked at the radar a bit ago. Hope all is well.

Joe, board should be in by Tuesday (hopefully).

Looks like central Minnesota might get some heavy weather in a few hours. Radar showed it building up down by pipestone heading in this direction. Stay safe folks. Time to crank up the weather scanner!
