Re: Minnesota Crunchers

I was able to attract a Blue bird pair to my Blue bird house I put up last year. Very cool too see it every morning before work hunting for bugs. They are more aggresive than I thought. They really dont like any other birds near them while they hunt.

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Sorry to hear about your car and the goose. At least it wasn't a deer.

Thanks, a deer would have totaled the car.

I have a few bluebird houses out, but no action yet.

Cheers

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Have seen a couple of blue birds over here. Think the birds are confused by the weather. Cold, then warm. Not sure if they should fly back south or not.

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

I have a question,

running Ubuntu 11.10 64

When I hook my new monitor up through dvi, my usb wireless network adapter don't work.

but when I hook up my monitor through vga my usb wireless network adapter works just fine.

any ideas whats going on?

my thought is, I need a larger power supply, I only have a 430 in, this is my thought, when it is hooked up through dvi it is taking more power to use the full hi-def, and I don't have enough for everything, just a thought

and vga takes allot less power to run so everything works

please correct my way of thinking if I am wrong

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

I have a question,

I have wild guess..
First I would check does Windows (do not know anythig about Linux) allow NIC (Network Interface Card) enter power saving mode or something..

On this XP it goes:
Computer (right click) -> Manage -> Device Manager -> then there is something reflecting NIC (on my case Intel(R) Wireless) right click -> new window and there is last page called "Power Management"...

If there is anything reflecting power saving or environmentalism, remove all those options and try again with dvi -cable..
Those two steps probably will look a very different on your PC, but patterns is quite self explaining.
