Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Brink,
I watched that video. Pretty ridiculous, but funny. Too bad those guys can't sing. Maybe the cold ruined their voices. Given the 4 inches of new fluff this morning, I was thinking making a remake called " I'm Dreaming of a White Easter." Except I would not be dreaming !

Cheers

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

We only got 1.5 inches on the 7.5 inches we got the day before. crying
The forecast calls for above freezing and almost 50 by the middle of the week so it looks like I will be on "wet basement" watch for a while. sad

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Just a little damp in one corner. All the snow is gone now on the trouble side of my house, so I think the leaking problem should be over.
That is of course we don't get rain before the frost is out of the ground. thinking

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Just when you think you are out of the woods with the snow, we get dumped on again.(But I am glad to see the moisture). I see the Cities are getting a good 8+ inches(20 cm) of very wet snow. The good thing is the frost is out of the ground, so it can soak in when it warms up later this week.50's by Thursday/Friday. Still snowing here, but it looks like it is petering out. Probably got about 6 inches, but it was hard to tell because some melted earlier in the morning.

Cheers

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Very wet snow! Most melted during the day but really started to stick after dark. I would say around 4 or 5 inches did not melt. I'm glad its April.

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Looked like a winter wonderland this morning. This afternoon the sun was out, it got into the mid 40's and the melting was going full blast. Turned my whole driveway to mud again. As soon as it dries out this weekend, I'll get a couple of yards of class 2 crushed granite and fill in the muddy potholes. This is an every spring project.

Cheers
