I just got my Raspberry Pi up and running. Cool! I finally got a huge work project out the door yesterday, so finally got to do this this morning. Brink, the R Pi Raspbian Wheezy OS uses the LXDE desktop -- same as Lubuntu. The R Pi's version seems to be more stripped down, though -- fewer choices on each menu than there are by default in Lubuntu. (Edited to add OS version) That sounds cool. How are you going to use it ? Cheers

COPD took my mother rather fast. To early. Allot due to heavy smoking before she quit. Think she would have lived longer smoking. Seeing her pass away in her room was enough to push me more into crunching. Am hoping a project comes along that can offer some kind of hope for a longer life for others in the same situation. COPD is a very hard way to go. I am sorry that your mother had to go through that, and you with her. ![]() |

Some local -> global politic stuff... Some paper dropped yesterday... There is this one clause: "The new bank tax will be introduced.".... I read the English translation on the link, but am not sure I understand exactly what they are doing. I understand the work incentive part and the training for those unemployed, but the bank tax ????? Is this something to help with the support of the Euro ???? It is unclear. Cheers

I understand the work incentive part and the training for those unemployed, but the bank tax ????? Is this something to help with the support of the Euro ???? It is unclear. Cheers Know one knows.... There is not any public data available outside those four words.... My guest is that there will be identical system with Sweden.... I'm building this theory on that base that this item "bank tax" has been ultimate goal of left wing all these years, and there is no way ever that they could create this kind of "beach head law" which would need some very severe experience how to lead hold societies.. Last time when such character raised from here, area was called East -Sweden.... Finland has been open economy less that twenty years. On another hand, oldes central bank on this planet is Sweden one and biggest bank operating here on Finland, happens to be also Swedish Nordea... So they have copy idea from Sweden, and they will copy practical implementation also from there... So quickly counting there will be at least 150 000 000 € more taxes to one relatively small industry to pay directly. I get this figure 1:1 ratio from Sweamamma model... This is direct bill, not including possible job loses or something like that... I'm more thinking what happens if Estonia does not follow and become as tax haven.... Cheers fellows, cheers..... http://youtu.be/N0X0CnZswWo ![]() |

My 150 was very close call
----------------------------------------![]() Official figure is 170. Tells a lot that news is under politics, not on economics... Everybody seems to agree that this has nothing to do with money. Some smooth move from reporter, FK is labor union. So there is two totally different kind of math inside leftwing. And I think this is the big question here... If Estonia just keep breathing, continue life as far, then it northern neighbors will make it another Luxembourg.... Well some lighter issues, another flower: http://scomberscombrus.nettisivu.org/ If need any evilly staring bugs, let me know.. Got wheelbarrow of those... ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by ultimaThule at Aug 9, 2012 5:38:05 AM] |

Looks like I won't get blue on my last badge. crying crying I got everything I have trying to get as high as I can before it's done in 6 weeks. The real end date is probably about 8 weeks away because of the final mop up and so forth. Hope that gives you enough time to get the blue. Cheers
