Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Drying out down there kate? Got around 12 inches of new snow in clearwater. Finally got my 4 wheeler and plow yesterday to push this stuff. Looks like more is on the way though.

About the same here. Heavy wet snow. It looked so picturesque I put my Christmas lights back on. I am waiting until it warms up to take them down. One week until my baby chicks arrive, I hope it warms up a little by then. It has yet to reach 50F(10C) this year. 18F(-7.7C) this morning. I hope all the moisture does not cause flooding either here or in Iowa.
Cheers

I'm in, too! I just joined Minnesota Crunchers over on Asteroids. :) When does the challenge start? I'll put some cores on Asteroids then.

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Minnesota sure got socked with snow again! Good luck to all of you with digging out -- again. I saw some pictures from Duluth -- looks as if they've got a couple of feet on the ground.

Yup, we're pretty well dried out but more rain storms are due through here this coming week.

You said it. Snowing again as I write this. 3 to 9 inches(7.5 to 22.5cm) expected. Just in time so the open patches of grass are covered again after the last foot of snow we got on Thursday-Friday. crying
Cheers

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

70s here in the TCs by Saturday !!

If you know of any lakes that are open you can see an incredible amount on waterfowl species. They are trapped until more lakes open up.
I seen well over a dozen species on Highland Lake in Bloomington in a very small area. 15 Common Loons and 5 red-necked Grebes were the highlight! I saw a pair of Loons doing the courting ritual. That is a first for me! Very strange weather with some unexpected surprises!
