Nothing stops you from that. Whilst android for certain settings only listens to the 'default' profile, you can still assign one of the others, work / home / school, to a device. Got mcm only host with 1 cep2 at a time on home and a full mix on work to which I've also assigned the android, which anyway only gets fahv.
----------------------------------------Did see a proposal to add a 'mobile' profile as a fifth one, but for whatever reason this is hugely complicated as in too many things are breaking and a immense coordination is required in boinc world as hundreds of project severs would need updating, not to speak of all the account manager services. Mind you also read about custom named profiles being possible here at wcg and tried it, so now have one called workserver. Not used presently though, no need. Deeply, deeply frustrated, but my device is being bombarded with 7.06 copies. The only 7.16 that had quorum did validate, but seeing now also mixes of tasks circulated with v7.06 and 7.16. As this is seemingly fine, why are copies of 7.06 being send out still of _2 _3 and on with the old application?

Just set no new work and aborted all. The next one was a 7.06 too and went the verification way and all the 7.16 copies of wingman are going out with the 195. If understanding right, one more error and the next one will get the too late marker.

Can only see after result return, which is too little too late too. Rooting to penetrate the data area is not considered as an option. The area will probably tell that both versions of the application are in the project folder. Btw, does anyone know how to set minimal buffer on the android client. Is it really only through the default profile how this can be achieved? Default for me is already set to connect at zero days and cache to zero as well to no avail, really all profiles have this setting. The client just piles up 8-10 of these units. Set disk allowed any lower and the memory is considered insufficient to get any work at all. |
