Re: New thread for It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!...

mclaver, I'm sure that there'll be some more WU's along in the not too distant future. Just remember, we've got the easy end of the stick, as it's the scientists who've got to check/verify and then prepare the next bout of rain - I'm having to be patient myself, as I'm literally ~5 WU's away from reaching my Emerald badge biggrin

Edit : My current DDDT2 contribution just falls short of Emerald by 22 Hrs, 7 mins... 0:364:01:53:06... Guess who's looking forward to the next shower cool

I'm not quite as close as gb009761. I need about 15 days for Emerald.

Re: New thread for It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!...

The initial copy of all of the work units from this past rain have been sent out now (although there may be some resends). At the moment there is no rain on the immediate horizon.

This is disappointing! I have now contributed 23 years to DDDT2. It has almost caught up to my contributions on the other active projects which are all over 24 years of contribution. I wanted to get over 25 years in case there is a 25 year badge one day :)

Now if WCG only supported CUDA, I could really rock!

Whoa, did I just hear someone ranked #43 whining?

Scratched record back on platter, this time not a 78 revs, but at 33.3: The first 3.5 million tasks were good for 1,230 CPU years which implies, that the last 21 million will be good for another 7,400 CPU years worth or there abouts. Plenty to top up, but you'll have to not check out from WCG to know about when they're going into the hopper.

Not Whining....just trying to spread the wealth around! and I probably have spent more time managing DDDT2 than any other project.

By the way, 43 achieved with almost all personal machines. I build machines as a hobby, then set them on WCG 24x7. I have 20 machines in my house, ranging from an 980x to an AMD 6000, and they generate a lot of heat.

Good luck on reaching Emerald. You may think I have been hogging DDDT2 work units, but my contribution to DDDT2 is the lowest contribution I have, for all active projects. Once it reaches the level of my other active projects, I will back off on DDDT2 and start spreading the work around agagin.

Speaking of it: is there any news about rain on the horizon?

Re: New thread for It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!...

As per a previous post in this thread, if the crunching chart is hinting at a biorhythm, then we might have new work this week coming week. Daily validations are still above 3.5k for last run.

:O
