Picked up a single resend today; dg02..._2
It's been a while, but duely promoted, and already returned, albeit after 2h 25min on an oc'd SB. Hopefully a few similar efforts will see rain just that little bit sooner ;) ![]() |

No rain on the immediate horizon. We expect to get some preruns at the end of the week which are run internally at IBM only. Those preruns will ultimately result in some more typeA work units further down the line but that will take some time. So, there won't be any new batches this week for certain (and beyond that it's too early to predict).

Thanks for the quick reply. Good to know that there is always someone listening (and answering) to the forums.

Please Seippel, give us an update, it has been quite a long break without WU already!
Thanks! |

As a general practice... when they do release new work units, is it something that everyone can get a good dose of and do them or is it hit and miss and those who hoard them the first day or so get them and the rest hope for some table scraps?
I really would like to help out but work units here seem rarer than an honest politician :) Aaron |

Ascholten, the Type A's only go to those machines which are rated as fast & reliable - so, if your machine isn't in that criteria, then you won't get any. The Type B & C's go to any machine which asks for them when they're available (i.e., there's generally not that many Type B's, but tons of Type C's).
----------------------------------------There are 'tricks' that can be done to help 'fill your cache', and that's to ONLY have DDDT2 selected - as this project does have a lower ranking than other projects. So, if your machine has (say) HCC and DDDT2 ticked, there's a good chance that it'll virtually always go for HCC first... ![]() |
