Thank you for the detailed and exciting news!

Kinda makes me feel sad that I can't contribute to CEP...

Re: Research Log: Updates from the Harvard Team

Thank you for the update! There are many exciting things there!

Congratulations to Alan Aspuru-Guzik! Tenured full professor at Harvard is huge.

Yesterday evening I heard James Balog (the Chasing Ice guy) speak here in Iowa City. That made me extra glad that I can participate in CEP2.

Re: Research Log: Updates from the Harvard Team

Last Thursday, Prof. David Reichman from Columbia University visited Harvard, met (amongst other people) the CEP team, and gave a very interesting talk, titled “Excitonic effects in novel semiconductors: From organic crystals to two-dimensional transition metal dichalcogenides”.

Re: Research Log: Updates from the Harvard Team

We have now linked and expanded our plotting module based on matplotlib to CEPDB to visualize our results and make pretty graphs.

We have now linked and expanded our plotting module based on matplotlib to CEPDB to visualize our results and make pretty graphs.

But are those pretty graphs telling you anything useful ? Care to post an example with a layman's explanation ?
Cheers

Re: Research Log: Updates from the Harvard Team

Yesterday we had a team cheminformatics summit with everyone who worked, is working, and will work on data mining, analysis, and modeling in CEP to refocus our efforts in this department.
