Re: Talk of Expected Completion date of HCC

I guess that we'll receive the 30-day notice of project end. Right now I'm 41 days away from my 10 year goal, which should be easily achievable in one month. So today I actually decreased my share on HCC across my machines.

Waiting for phase 2, and hopefully, a newly designed badge for 10 years praying tongue

I agree and hope the GPU hastens the research.

Re: Talk of Expected Completion date of HCC

I'm pretty next to 4 years of crunching on CEP2, HCC and HCMD2. As I reach them, I'll switch focus on those projects which I don't have the 4y yet... :)

Re: Talk of Expected Completion date of HCC

15 years and 177 days! I focused mainly my IDLE cpu time on this research! I really hope that my little grain of sand has been helpful to the conquest of a better understanding of this disease and finding a cure.

You're just over 6 months to a nice binary target, Orkblutt. I recently moved on after hitting my 32yr target.

No matter how big or small a contribution is, we all play a part in hopefully bringing mankind one step closer towards the target.

I guess that the plan is to keep the chart at 31 days until the official "30 day warning". So we might see quite a period of time with 31 days to go? laughing

Martin

Yes, Sekerob's chart is hard coded to not go below the official notification threshold until the WCG administrators have given the notice. After all, they have access to far more data than any of the users.
