Oh, no, I didn't realize that. Had no idea it was official. Cool!

Re: Talk of Expected Completion date of HCC

I asked this some time back (not sure if in this thread or another), but not sure if got an answer... If I understand correctly, HCC (in the future) will have two parts to it, a GPU part and a CPU part. So my question is: will this be known as HCC or will it be a HCC2?

Thanks,

CJSL

Re: Talk of Expected Completion date of HCC

cjslman, I don't recall anything OFFICIAL being announced, although by reading between the lines, my interpretation of what's going to happen, is there's going to be two threads of HCC1 (CPU & GPU), then at some point in the future, HCC2 will come.

Obviously, I may have this totally wrong and in reality, unless we get an official statement from the WCG techs (very unlikely), we'll just have to wait and see...

Re: Talk of Expected Completion date of HCC

Thanks gb009761... Since your answer is very close to mine, I'll assume that my assumption is correct and act accordingly.

Thanks,

Re: Talk of Expected Completion date of HCC

Bugg

I had assumed you were running 4 cores 24/7 but you seem to be doing half of that.

With luck they won't issue the 30 day warning before you are near enough.

Re: Talk of Expected Completion date of HCC

Mike: I am running 4 cores 24/7. However, once I read that HCC wasn't going away yet, I switched to C4CW, and am doing that 24/7 right now. :)

Bugg

Personally, I would have reached the badge and then switched. The follow on may be HCC2 and you would be back to zero for that.

Re: Talk of Expected Completion date of HCC

Please, tell me, could I be sure HCC would work for at least 90 days more (for me to have emerald badge)?
