Seems to be further and further in the future! The end date that is! Probably a different thread and will look, but wonder if the research has recently added any new help?

Something is missing. A recent thread talked about an upcoming GPU version for HCC. If the end was in 2 months why would they be talking about the GPU work starting sometime next year?

Although I've certainly not heard of anything official, I wouldn't be too surprised to hear that there's extra work going to be added to this project. After all, as a previous poster has said - why invest resources in getting a GPU version of the project up and running when there'd be literally days left to run once it goes live... Yes, they'd then have the experience of launching/running GPU project, but surely they'd be able to gain that experience on a project which has longer to run/a newly launched project.

There will be an HCC2 project. However, I believe they will extend the phase one work at least long enough to get the GPU port through beta and stabilized.
