----------------------------------------I am looking at some additional celebrities and companies to approach as sponsors. WCGrid would be a great source of publicity and goodwill for any entity. Using social networking would increase the reach and effect of a sponsorship for the team and the sponsor. Looks like a win - win situation to me. Inspired by you, captain rcc, I have created a Facebook group
Base Camp on WCG So far I have not "marketed" it except for this link and one in Base Camp's team thread. I am a member of a Facebook group of 2,700 kind, gentle and emphatic people who found each other when the July 22, 2011, murders happened in Norway's capitol Oslo and a nearby island. I shall put a link there hoping some will feel like joining WCG. |

The challenge results are unchanged in ranking but look at #5 China, etc... in HFCC

I'm not getting many HFCC WU's because the techs have reduced the priority for that project due to problem with one of the servers that are receiving the results. If we want to get more HFCC WU's I think we will have to dedicate a server to HFCC only. I'm going to do that for my husband's dual-core processor laptop.

I have 45 HFCC 6.40 queued on one quad core. Will look at the other PCs.

I have 60 queued on my other quad core and 8 queued on a single core. That is a total of 113 queued with 9 total cores.

I don't have time now but will do the math later today and see if it is possible to get there this month. If so, I do not have a problem with changing project preferences to process more HFCC. Looking at the HFCC challenge results I believe that we are gaining on China, etc... and will overtake them as #5.
