I've just received my first OPN1 beta WU: estimated computation time: 2 hours.

Depends on the work unit, some take 2 minutes, others take 6 hours. But the average should be around 2.5 hours from my estimates. The estimates are going to be completely bogus for these batches.

Thanks,

Hi Keith,
the time is running very fast: after 12 minutes ... the estimated 2 hours are over wink
Cheers,
Yves

Re: OpenPandemics - COVID 19 Beta Test April 20, 2020 [ Issues Thread ]

The first few batches on beta are manually created. So, I did not size them based on the ligand size. The work unit is only built with one target / ligand calculation. We are hoping to use the data created from the beta to help us estimate runtimes better in the future. It is a parabolic equation that is generated from averages taken.

Also, the validator is currently turned off, I want to get more results while i sleep to check them out in the morning on a single attempt.

Thanks,
-Uplinger

I got 3 of the short ones. 2 finished in 2 minutes or less and the other under 10 minutes.

Got 2 WUs of these, unfortunately on a remote system, so a bit hard to monitor their progress...

My Androids have picked up 5 of these units but none of them are running. Have these been sent out by mistake?

EDIT, One of the Beta WU's has started to run.

I got one BETA_OPN1_TEST029_0171_0, running wcgrid_beta28_autodock_7.08_windows_x86_64, on my Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4790K CPU @ 4.00GHz.

Run time 00:16:17.

No issues that I could see.
