My system just uploaded all its pending WUs. So, at least some progress has been made. Is the queue on your system empty now, narf57, or are all your tasks 'Ready to report'? Out of 666 finished tasks in my system's queue, 239 tasks were uploaded just now (from 17:05 to 17:14 UTC) and their status changed to 'Ready to report' in BOINC Manager. Well, I certainly see now difference, can't upload any finished work, and the same errors still persists:

Is the queue on your system empty now, narf57, or are all your tasks 'Ready to report'? Out of 666 finished tasks in my system's queue, 239 tasks were uploaded just now (from 17:05 to 17:14 UTC) and their status changed to 'Ready to report' in BOINC Manager. Mine are same as yours, Ready to report. One step at a time I guess. |

In just under 12 hours, some of my already extended tasks will expire, unless they are extended again.

Some of mine have expired already despite being extended. At this point, it doesn't matter. There is no stats run on the WCG servers, which would do any action depending on those dates, and as I mentioned in another reply, as long as there is no communication from the WCG BOINC servers to the BOINC clients, it doesn't matter what expiration date is shown there... Any way you turn it, the ball is in WCG's court... Ralf  |

I have not seen any movement of uploading of WU’s but, the DUE DATE of ALL my in-progress WU’s SHOWN ON WCG’s website have be updated to 3-27.
However, the due dates on my computer are unchanged from their original value. I had hoped for a punch-list of remaining items but, that has remained elusive. I continue to look forward to resuming WCG’s projects. Bruce |

EDIT" Just checked a couple of other hosts before I get back to work, and those two don't show any "ready to report" WUs anymore, but there are plenty of WUs still not being uploaded. Just too bad that there is no communication from WCG about any changes, so there wouldn't be so much guess work about what is actually going on on our side... It appears from the outside that Krembil tried to do too much with too little while re-engineering the hardware and software systems to run WCG with far less than IBM's skillset. WCG on IBM, old software. WCG on Krembil, new software. New & Improved = it breaks thing that ran on the old software and in this case a chunk of everything. |
