We've managed 3rd place in the 8th birthday challenge so far... http://www.seti-germany.de/wcg/statistiken/challenge.php Pretty impressive, and all due to GPU processing! GPU processing raised my contribution by 1.5 million ppd, and is a significant portion of Ryan's contribution. Unfortunately HCC is only projected to last another 93 days, and no other GPU projects on the horizon that I am aware of.    |

Just saw the announcement about HCC running low. Let's see if they get the new work loaded in time.I have adjusted my exclusive HCC to accept other work in case they run dry.

Looks like we are solidly in #3 on the challenge. Very respectable if you ask me.
----------------------------------------It'll be interesting to see how a possible HCC project dry-up changes the standings, if at all. I will be out of town for the next 5 days for turkey day from tommorow morning so my systems will be at the mercy of the project. Might pull the app_info if they don't get new work by tonight. Same here. Have to run dry my cache so I can remove the app info file. Am hoping another GPU project comes along soon, or HCC decides to expand.

I am 1000 miles away from my crunchers so there will no pulling the app info files. Oh well. That bites. Can't remote in? Have went back to regular crunching. My GPU's left a message on screen thanking me for giving them a break.  . Hopefully an update from the scientists will give us a better idea how close they really are at completing the project. Am presuming they are drowning in data since GPU crunching kicked in. Will be monitoring to see if they release more.

This is going to change my Black Friday/Cyber Monday purchasing. I was going to get a HD7770. Now I suppose I need to look for CPU/mobo deals.
