Re: Minnesota Crunchers

I have never seen a rock band composed of 3 cellos and a drummer. Not necessarily my cup of tea, but very interesting.

Cheers

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

AGGGGHHHHH!!!!!
The heat as arrived in force. I see it has even been in the upper 70's(F)
in Yellowknife in northern Canada. At least it has not reached the 100(F) (38 C) here yet. Hopefully it will rain soon.

Cheers

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

You certainly have an eclectic(wide ranging) taste in videos. Enjoy the 75. Probably fairly shortlived at your latitude. All gone by late august.

You are putting up some impressive numbers. Must be quite a server farm you are tending.

Cheers

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Finally, some widespread rain. Had to shut down for while due to lightning. But thankful for the rain. 3/4 inch (about 2cm). Badly needed. Most of the corn was getting pretty curled and the soybeans were looking tough, especially on the sandier ground. Thankfully no strong winds or hail.

Cheers

Jup crying

rain, rain, rain, gray, some sunshine.
Temperature drops to 40 Fahrenheit on night time.

I think that I just broke up with my girlfriend (nothing serious, we do it so regularly that there is something wrong if we would not) and I think it saved me from pneumonia.
She's last idea was, that she rent cabin from some island on Baltic Sea....
I would not joy my self on wind of 10 Beaufort in freezing climate....

Only thing that I could do is stay inside, well I can do it very comfortable in my home also.
But I can always adjust heating to +75' F

Apropoo, there is movie called "True Stories/USA 1986, 90', regarding to information on paper, it should be some kind of document of local life style on U.S.

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

We are glad to have you aboard. Minnesota is the home to many former Finlanders and their descendants. The former head of the Minnesota High school League, the governing body of high school sports here was named Waino John Kortesmaki. I think he has passed on some time ago. But he had a good sense of humor. He had a good joke about being Finnish in Minnesota. I'll see if I can find it and put it in here. I don't know Finnish for Welcome, but Velkommen I think is Swedish. Looking forward to hearing more.

Cheers
