Re: Minnesota Crunchers

This is the end to a glorious weekend. 70F (21 C) both days. No rain. Nice until Tuesday, then snow and sleet by Thursday. Saw one farmer bailing his latest cutting of alfalfa. I can't remember the last time I saw that in November.

Cheers

Makes me wonder if he got 4 cuts in this year. good luck

One question, does anybody happen to know name of this marc, beginning on 20:15 on that radio play behind link.
I know it might be some British origin, so I write to one Briton and he did not recognise it.
It just sound so wonderful piece of art that it would be nice to have it.

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Hello fellows from long time.

Gosh, my American boss is start to cause me some stress.. He is ex -mariner and act like one also on civilian life.
It is so easy to notice that university cannot fix lack of basic civilisation skills. Something like how to behaver must come from good childhood and family.

It quite stressful because this fellow is always very stern, so it makes me feel that I'm doing something wrong, because usually peoples are very relaxed and happy with my company.
When I smile to somebody that somebody smiles back and we are both happy for a while.
But not with this fellow, seems to be on the edge all the time.

Worst part is that fellow is using language that is declaration of war here in Europe.
Here nobody has not make any errors until proven so, but this fellow seems to judge on his own without even asking opinion from person who he is judging.
This is more like criminal culture behaver here, it is not behaver for gentleman or ladies.

So situation is that gentleman captain has proletarian corporal as boss..
Not very funny, not very funny at all.

Just because he is the boss is no excuse to treat the employees badly or rudely. I guess I can understand the stern part. He is probably under some stress from his boss to produce results. One of the rules of good management is you treat your emplyees well and you expect the best from them. Unprofessional conduct is undesirable. In my business I must be professional at all times and not bring any troubles from home or personal life into the work environment. The old saying goes " You attract more bees with honey rather than vinegar." If you as the boss or middle management treat employees well you will get better results from them. Even if he is under stress, it is no excuse to be grumpy with the staff.

Cheers

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

I actually meet this fellow today face to face, and it was quite beautiful experience.
He was rational and we did get a long, well at least I did 8)
He ask and I explain, and we did end up having resolution. We both compromise.

It just so weird, becouse in my culture we would do first what we did last.
Sit down and wonder what had happen.

But if here somebody give accusion without hearing person first, he/she ends up to be ex -leader very fastly.
It is very great insult to act like that in our culture.

But there is that much gentlemen in me that I do not reply to insults, and there was not any harm done in that matter.

I think that I get along with this fellow.

It would be an insult here also. But I am glad you were able work out the situation. You are the better man for it.

Cheers
